Suzanne D. Stepan joined FIM Group in September 2003 as a Portfolio Manager in the Traverse City, Michigan office. Her responsibilities include the construction and monitoring of client portfolios, and individual security and market analysis. Prior to joining FIM Group, Suzanne worked from 1989 to 2002 as Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for Noddings Investments, a division of Conning Asset Management Company. With over 16 years investment management experience, Suzanne has broad knowledge of financial products, trading strategies, and financial markets with products including fixed income and convertible securities, equities and warrants. Suzanne is passionate about portfolio management, combining good business acumen, strong trading discipline, and healthy relationships with numerous brokers and dealers.
Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Northern Illinois University and holds an MBA from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. Suzanne earned her CFA® charter in September 1999. Suzanne is deeply committed to act with integrity, competence, dignity, and in an ethical manner in the portfolio management of Utopia Funds.
